They told us “You are out of your minds” 11 years ago when we first began this journey of publishing WholeLife Pages®. “There is nothing in the Phoenix area of a holistic nature”, they continued. All the while we sat there with over 300 leads between us. This issue of WholeLife Pages® celebrates our 10th issue! If you would have told me then that my previous eight years as a publisher of yellow pages directories would bring me to this I would have been surprised. Before starting this project I’d never heard the word “holistic”! As you are probably aware, these kinds of resources cannot be found in the yellow pages, therefore, I was never exposed to them.
Since beginning WholeLife Pages® I’ve watched the holistic and natural resources, organizations, products and practitioners explode in this area and I know that WholeLife Pages® has played a tremendous part in increasing that awareness. Our goal from the beginning was to ensure that we weren’t just “preaching to the choir” so to speak, but that we were actively getting this information into the hands of the general population who we believe would want to know that these types of resources are available right here in our own back yard, like we did ourselves, and that they really are effective and important. All the while educating and informing, supporting and empowering our readers and advertisers alike. It has not always been an easy project requiring long hours, patience, diligence, and sincerity in our determination to dig up the information found here and then in the production of this great work. It is a daily walk and commitment; one that I am proud and honored to make. Had it not been for this journey, I myself would not be here today to share this information with you. It is an awareness I have every day of my life. Had it not been for the willingness of our advertisers to share their knowledge and expertise with us freely, there
would not be a WholeLife Pages® resource for you or me to access. I’ve now have been cancer free for nearly 9 years and have been able to help hundreds of others to do the same – naturally – just as I did.
I’ve often said that if it can’t be found right here in this directory, I simply won’t use it. I mean it! Living within the pages of this directory will quite honestly change your life – even save it! We are blessed beyond measure to live in a state that openly supports and enables these resources to exist. Most other states have restrictions and laws literally forbidding their existence or operation in any way. Every day, week, month, and year there are more and more services of a natural and holistic nature being made available to us here in Arizona and across the country. I want to encourage you to jump in with both feet! Try something new and different even if it doesn’t make any sense to you at the moment. Do your own research. Open yourself up to the vast universe of possibilities waiting or you out there. And please, do me a huge favor, if you run across something or someone who is offering a product or service that you could not find here in the directory, drop me a line or give me a call. I want to know who they are so that I can share their information with everyone else.
